New Focus for the Training Center Ephesians 4:11-17 Ministry

The past two years have been a challenge for all of us. In our work to continue to support those seeking to transform their lives through sober-living, we have let go of the residential treatment center in Spring Valley. The hundreds and even thousands of lives that were impacted or influenced by the services will never be forgotten!

Moving forward into 2021, the direction of the Training Center is to work from house to house in a manner similar to the beginning of the New Testament Church. We are grateful for the continuing support of Serving California and expect to open a second home to men that are seeking a sober-living environment. Pastor Dennis Martinez has taken steps to secure at least one more property with other opportunities being discussed at this time. God is faithful and we expect to see more of His goodness as the year 2021 unfolds.

Life and Community of the Training Center

In the past, the Training Center had extensive community support for program graduates, ‘lifers’ who have received peer mentorship, and other community service providers who have been welcome partners to Training Center residents. Going forward we expect to continue the work of connecting the community to our sober living home residents.

We have community support including former Padres baseball players Gene Locklear and Garry Templeton.
